Lola Totsiou mesmerized the audience and Dimitris Spouras shone with his talent 28 May 2017

The concert circle 'May in Vassiliko with the TSSO" completed with a wonderful concert, that fully satisfied the music lovers who filled the theater.

After the perfect introduction to the devotional first part by Barber's stunning 'Adagio for strings', Lola Totsiou mesmerized the audience with her interpretation in Schnittke's 'Piano Concerto'.

The second part was lively and full of folklore elements from Eastern Europe, with the works by Smetana and Liszt stirring up the audience. The TSSO was in a great mood conducted by Dimitrios Spouras,
the particularly talented maestro from Thessaloniki who is making a career abroad.

Spouras proved the high level of the TSSO Pan-Hellenic Young Artists Competition since he is its winner of 2014. This year's competition is about the violin and started yesterday with the first round taking place in the TSSO Concert Hall 'Solon Michaelides', it continues with the semi-final on Monday in the same hall and it will be ended up on Friday's final, on June 2, at the Vassiliko Theater.
