Rich feelings 14 October 2017

'It's such a great orchestra!
It gets better and better and I think it’s excellent.”
Wolfgang Schroeder, violonist

Yesterday’s T.S.S.O. concert was another one beautiful mudical experience for all the music lovers. The wonderful compositons of the greatest Czech composers, Smetana and Dvorak, caused a lot af emotions, as well as Cyprus Sympony Orchestra concertmaster Wolfgang Schroeder’s interpretation in Dvorak’s ‘Violin concerto’. After the fabulous 'New World Symphony', the orchestra and the conductor were applaused.

Wolfgang Schroeder said right after the concert: “It was a great experience! I really enjoyed it very much and the orchestra is such a great orchestra. It has developed since I last heard it a few years ago. It gets better and better and I think it’s excellent.”

When Martin Lebel was asked how he lived the concert and its all preperation, he said: “I lived a very very happy week here. It’s a great orchestra with a lot of energy and everyboby here wants to make music. So, it was for me a very happy week. Of course, trying stuff as the New World Symphony, it’s a challenge, because I feel that maybe it’s so known but in the same time it isn’t. We all know its big themes, but many of these great symphonies are so original and they always have something to discover with the orchestra you work with.”
