«I thank the conductor, the soloist and the orchestra for their job.
I realy enjoyed doing it and I hope the audience was pleased too».

The of the T.S.S.O.concert that took place the day before yesterday combined music and sport, since beside the premiere of “Contre Tous, hommage à Nikos Galis” by Nicolas Tzortzis, with Pavlos Antoniadis on the piano, the other two pieces of the first part of the concert, which were performed with the participation of the Thessaloniki Mixed Choir, were also directly (“Hymne Olympique”) or indirectly (“Zadok the Priest’, Coronation anthem No.1”) connected with sport.During the second part the audience enjoyed Mozart’s imposing “Jupiter Symphony”.

After the end of the evening Pavlos Antoniadis stated: “It was a wonderful collaboration with the maestro and the orchestra, which is of a very high level. I thank you all!” while the composer Nicolas Tzortzis added: “I thank the conductor, the soloist and the orchestra for the very good job they did and I am very pleased. I am truly glad I did it and I hope the people enjoyed it as well”.

Finally,
the concert’s conductor Giorgos Balatsinos told us: “It was an exceptional cooperation with the T.S.S.O. on a very demanding program, especially the modern piece, where T.S.S.O. truly showed their best self and embraced the piece. This collaboration was a great pleasure to me and I hope to see you soon.”
