The Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra and the Thessaloniki Concert Hall in collaboration with the Jewish Community of Thessaloniki honor the Holocaust Remembrance Day of the Jews of Thessaloniki and the 70th anniversary of the Israeli Declaration of Independence .

Mr. Perahia's participation, as it has been originally announced, was cancelled due to an ear infection that prevents him from travelling.
