Viola-Strings Training Seminar 14 February 2025

The Viola-Strings Training Seminar at the Serres Music School was successfully held yesterday by the TSSO with great participation of students. It concerned the string section of the orchestra, with an emphasis on the Viola and was presented by the distinguished musician of the TSSO, pedagogue and conductor, Demosthenis Fotiadis. Thus began in the best possible way the new educational initiative of the Thessaloniki State Orchestra with the holding of training seminars in Music Schools of Central Macedonia and the coordinator of this initiative was the Advisor for Education in Music Science of Eastern Thessaloniki and Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Thessaloniki State Orchestra, Antonis Konstantinidis. The Director of the Serres Music School, Simos Papanas, was also present yesterday at the Serres Music School and spoke to the school's students. Yesterday's seminar was held in collaboration with the Serres Secondary Education Department, the Serres Music School's Department and teachers.
