Music by the TSSO united YMCAs from every corner of the planet

This year's Christmas concert of the TSSO
for the YMCA
of
Thessaloniki
was somewhat different from the previous ones, since it managed to unite our own YMCA
with other YMCAs
from every corner of the planet, with which it collaborates and develops exchange programs, social service actions and camp programs, creating bonds that transcend borders.
Thus, Thessaloniki sent messages of love and hope to countries such as the USA, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Romania, Denmark, Germany, France and Lebanon, with the TSSO
performing music from these countries, contucted by Eliza Gogou.
The program began with carols from the Children's and Youth Choir of the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius, taught by Maria Emma Meligopoulos and Elpida Tsami, with Nikos Zafranas on the clavin.
The concert was presented by Akis Sakellariou.
The event was prefaced by the presidents of the two organizations collaborating for this concert, Mr. Yiannis Sossidis
and Mr. Stathis Georgiadis, while greetings were delivered by the Deputy Minister of the Interior, responsible for Macedonia-Thrace issues, Mr. Konstantinos Gkoulekas, and the Mayor of Thessaloniki, Mr. Stelios Angeloudis.
