The yesterdays concert of the T.S.S.O. was realλy and full of emotions by the Asian Cinema film music, like “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”, “The Last Samurai”, “The Last Emperor”, “House of Flying Daggers”, “The Little Buddha”, and many other movies that have been loved all over the world.
The conductor was Georgios Vranos, while the solist roles were alterate between the groups of the orchestra. Nefeli Spiropoulou as the soprano, enthused with her performance at the song “Lovers” by Shigeru Umebayashi from the movie “House of Flying Daggers”, and the audience called her back to hear it one more time.
The concert was held in cooperation with the Thessaloniki Concert Hall and Thessaloniki Film Festival. During the concert was also a screening with some beautiful moments of the films.
