The Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra and the Thessaloniki Concert Hall start together their festive events with a special gala in the spirit of Christmas, which combines jazz standards, well-known songs from musicals and distinctive melodies of the most beautiful period of the year.
4 great singers and the Thessaloniki Mixed Choir join on stage with the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Michalis Economou, in a musical feast with eternal hits, such as ‘My Way’, ‘My Funny Valentine’, ‘Moon River’ and Christmas favorites such as ‘Santa Claus is coming to town’, ‘O holy night’, ‘Jingle bells’

The Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra participates in the festive events for the ‘YMCA of Thessaloniki One Hundred Years’ with a concert that includes masterpieces of the renowned Russian music school. The famous German cellist Maximilian Hornung is the soloist of the concert.
