A storm of emotions

The city's music-loving audience filled the Concert Hall to enjoy the magnificent 'Fifth Symphony' of Gustav Mahler by the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, with the multitude of intense and conflicting emotions it deals with, as tragedy is followed by joy, pain by pleasure and despair by hope.
The great English conductor Martyn Brabbins safely led the orchestra on this wonderful musical journey and the warm applause of everyone at the end rewarded the artists for this particularly beautiful experience.
