A wonderful end to a historic artistic period

The TSSO
opened the 34th Cassandra Festival at the Siviris Amphitheater on Saturday, July 11, with works by Bernstein, Korngold and
Dvořák
, conducted by Leo McFall and with the excellent violin soloist Liya Petrova.
This concert marked the end of a historic artistic period for the orchestra, which includes, among other things, highly successful appearances in Greece and abroad, with prominent performances at the Musikverein in Vienna and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, the release of the album 'Another Dawn' with Berlin Classics and the record attendance since its founding.
The new artistic period begins in September with a particularly impressive program that will be announced - up to and including the New Year's concerts of 2027 - on the official website of the K.O.T. by the end of the month
